Elefo – Fardarter

Web

Elefo‘s “Fardarter” is named after one of the many aliases of the Greek God Apollo, the song is about following your dreams regardless of heavy adversity and overwhelming challenges.  From the outset of the intro you can tell this will be an epic listening experience.  Largely influenced by early, classic dubstep anthems.  It has a deep throbbing bass-line with trippy velvety synths layered over a primarily 808 drum-kit.  Finally topped off with a sprinkle of chopped and re-pitched vocals that build up as the song progresses.  The part hip-hop, part funky house styling provides nice variety for a dance happy crowd.  A Guaranteed workout for sub woofers and club heads.

Nadus Remix

Web

From a very young age Nadus has been amassing a wealth of experience in music production and the club scene.  He has worked with countless production heavy weights and is also co-founder of the hugely successful club night “Thread” that has been destroying venues all across the western hemisphere.  Nadus’s remix brings a sense of intricate pace and electrifying energy to “Fardarter”.  Driven by racing precision and laced with emotional percussive build ups.  The song plunges you into an ocean of 160 heaven leaving you feeling out of breath and bewildered.  It is a great honour to have Nadus involved in these early, tentative steps here at Pet Liger.

Pyramid Scheme Remix

Web

Comprised of CDNephew, D Warrior and Akito.  Pyramid Scheme maybe a name not too familiar with most music fans yet but this trio of producers have been immersed in a world of sound and audio design for a number of years.  Each bringing their own unique dimension to the music that they collaborate on.  CDNephew’s experience with synth design, D Warrior’s hard hitting aesthetic and Akito’s percussive ingenuity really shine through, especially on this remix.  The slower of the “Fardarter” incarnations it has a superb broken rhythm with an intense, warm sub bass-line that trickles in and out ensuring that you will be bobbing your head and moving your feet.  It is a true blessing to have this team of talented artists taking part in this project.
